Association for Marketing, now Competition- & Market Law Association, was established on the 23d of February 1971. According to its statutes, the Association’s purpose is to promote the interest in and knowledge of Swedish and international market law and other therewith related subjects. Prior to the formation, it was stressed that the Association shall be unbound by all interest groups.

The Association organizes meetings, conferences, supports research and education as well as documentation och publication activities on the field of market law. The Association’s meetings are a forum for qualified discussions related to market law .

The Association currently has more than a hundred members who are among other people working at universities and colleges, courts and government, in business and industry organizations, people active in advertising and media as well as persons interested in the field of market law.

Within the Association there is a special international department which is connected to the LIDC (-International League of Competition Law). For more information regarding the LIDC see here.
