The Competition- & Market Law Association invites you to an association meeting and seminar, on Wednesday the 16th of October at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The members of the Finnish Competition Law Association are invited as special guests to this event.
The seminar will focus mainly on two topics, which were brought up at the 2013 LIDC Congress in Kiev held on September 19th to the 22nd. Please consult the agenda below for the general order of business and the definitions of these topics for discussion.

“The food distribution market: is antitrust efficiently handling this market?” (merger, restrictive practices, abuse of dominant position)
Speaker: Lars Henriksson, Professor of Law, Stockholm School of Economics, national reporter for Sweden regarding LIDC/Question A.
5:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“Finnish grocery retail dominance law – Short presentation on the new legislation based on the national report on Question A.”
Speaker: Mikko Huimala, Counsel, Castrén & Snellman Attorneys Ltd, national reporter for Finland regarding LIDC/Question A.
6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
“On what legal grounds could or should commercial practices, i.e. manufacturing, marketing, distribution or advertisements, of items produced or services rendered in violation of standards, statements, commitments or CSR voluntarily issued or adopted by an undertaking, be sanctioned or prevented?”
